Born in Amalfi, Italy- Star’s life began on a rather rough patch. She was born the daughter of a well-known combat nurse for the military, discharged for ‘mental health’ reasons that were unknown. Her mother did not survive the birth, leaving Star to be taken in by her biological father. Her biological father was a well known American scientist by the name of Vincent C. Fyre and associated with the program known as ‘Evolution’. The man was well known for his vast knowledge of genetics and biology. While he was not too excited to take his daughter into his care, he eventually took Star into his care to raise, never letting anyone know of his child’s existence..

Star showed her intelligence at a very young age. With her father’s strict rules and teachings, Star quickly advanced during her early home schooling years. Upon reaching the age of six, Star’s father was heavy at work with his newest project involving genetic splicing. Vincent believed that to improve the human race, one must return to specific traits lost over time from ancestors. At first, the man simply worked with laboratory animals. The scientific community seemed to be split with his experiments- This only seemed to push the well known scientist further on his obsessive goal. For hours Star would be left on her own while her father worked downstairs.

Upon her 10th birthday, Star’s father seemed to be diving further and further into his obsession. Each experiment seemed to only prove failure after failure. It was when the Doctor looked upon his daughter’s face that an idea sprung. While guilt lingered in the back of the man’s mind- He continued to convince himself that this was for the benefit of the human race. One night Star’s father approached her. Something he had not done for some time, to which the young girl was elated- Her father was finally noticing her.

Vincent had managed to convince his daughter that she was a ‘key’ into helping many people. Once convincing his daughter, Vincent took a sample of her DNA. Star was then tucked into bed and left alone for the night. Upon trying a sample of his child’s blood, it showed a positive reaction with his project; cells were cooperating and generating more and more of the desired product; A perfect genetic mix. However, without an ample amount of DNA being provided- the experiment could not continue further. He shifted his gaze towards a picture of his young child on his desk; A decision had been made that day that would change her life forever.

Following the discovery, Vincent would gradually inject his daughter with the serum used in his experiments. Every week the dosages increased- his daughter not seeming to show any sort of changes. Frustrated, Vincent seemed to only spiral further and further into his obsession. The man dug deep into various selected DNA samples. However, exhaustion caused the man to incorrectly read a label; The DNA on the vial was not that of a human ancestor- it was that of the CANIS family. The DNA was incorporated into his developed serum and administered to his young daughter. Seconds later, Star seemed to faint. Her body trembled in pain and her breath wheezed heavily with each intake of air- Until completely going still. She was gone.In a panic, Vincent called the paramedics. Vincent was arrested and shunned by the science community. While awaiting trial, Vincent committed suicide.

Seven days in the hospital and Star finally began to show signs of life- Opening her eyes and communicating with the staff. However, she did not seem to have any memory from before the hospital- Only the memory of her name, which was written on the tag of the jacket she had been wearing.

Through her recovery, Doctors began to notice odd features about the young child. She seemed much stronger than the average child her age, able to lift heavy objects with ease. Her sense of smell was something of great awe- Able to determine what the Hospital cafe was serving that day as it was being cooked. Not soon after, Star was taken back by the project. Dubbed ‘Black Wolf’, Star was forced to undergo intense training and conditioning to strengthen and progress her abilities further. It wasn’t until she was in her twenties that Star was able to escape and flee to America and placed her skills to proper use as a ‘Mercenary for hire’- Where she currently resides today.. She is well known for her skills among all sides of the spectrum; Good, bad and even other neutrals.
